How can I book a tour?

There is a contact form next to all our tour descriptions. You can request a standardised tour or enquire about a customised solution for your group, and expect to receive our response within the next 24 hours.

Can I book a tour for less than 6 people?

Yes, you can book a tour for 1 or more persons (up to 6), but the price per person for a tour will be higher for smaller group as all of the prices are referenced for a group of 6.

Can I book a tour for more than 6 people?

Tours for larger groups then 6 people can be arranged but we cannot guarantee their availability. For more details please drop us an e-mail to booking@flavoursofcroatia.com.

What can I expect from a tour organised by Flavours of Croatia?

What are the agency’s criteria for choosing wineries and other venues for its tours?

All our partnerships with family-run farms, restaurants and wineries are the result of a thorough scrutiny of the product and service quality provided by these venues. Our team members have personally visited each one of these places and made sure the service standard is at the required level, that they use traditional wine making / food preparation methods and only the top quality ingredients.

Who are the FoC partners?

We prefer to cooperate with smaller organic food manufacturers and boutique wineries, due to personalised service and exclusivity they are able to provide to their guests, unlike the big ones.

However, owing to the market demand and global popularity of particular wineries, we have partnered as well with several household names in the Croatian winemaking industry, such as Grabovac, Tomić, Plenković and Korta Katarina.

How can I pay for my tour?

Having agreed on the suggested itinerary and confirmed your booking, we will send you an invoice for your tour. The total amount is due within 48 hours of booking confirmation. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Amex, Diners, MasterCard) and direct bank transfers. All payments are made through our partner’s secure card payment gateway. You will receive your voucher with detailed tour information, after we have received your payment.

All payments are effected in the Euros (EUR).

Why is there a cancellation policy?

The organisation and planning of your tour takes our team’s time and effort, for which they have to be compensated. In addition to that, our agency incurs bank charges for all money transfers as well as PayPal transaction fees. For that reason, even if you cancel your tour weeks before your trip and are entitled to a refund, our agency charges a small fee for the services already rendered.

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, cancelations received at any time after we have received your payment and booking confirmation incur the following penalties:

– cancellation received 90 days prior to the scheduled trip – the client will receive a full refund (less administrative fee of €10 per person)

– cancellation received between 90 and 30 days prior to the scheduled trip – the client is entitled to an 70% refund

– cancellation received between 30 and 7 days prior to the scheduled trip – the client is entitled to a 50% refund

– cancellation received 7 days prior to the scheduled trip – the client is not entitled to a refund

– In the event of a “no-show” without cancellation or a late cancellation without a reasonable excuse, Sobamo Ltd (Flavours of Croatia) and                    the travel services provider have the right to keep the whole prepaid amount, in accordance with the travel service provider’s terms and conditions.

Do I need a travel insurance?

We strongly recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance pack which covers medical emergencies and personal accidents before your trip to Croatia. Although it is our responsibility to provide you with safe and comfortable transportation services and offer you food and beverages that meet health and safety requirements, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by force majeure or medical emergencies caused by your own negligence.
