The Krauthaker Winery, located on the southern slopes of the Krndija Mountain, is dedicated to the cultivation of 38 different grape varieties, including Graševina (Welsh Riesling), Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Zelenac, Merlot, Pinot Noir and many others. The owner of the Krauthaker vineyards and winery, Vlado Krauthaker, is also a qualified agronomy expert and oenologist, who considerably expanded the family estate and took the local winemaking to a whole new level. His Welsh Riesling, Sauvignon and Chardonnay have frequently been awarded gold medals at national wine exhibitions and fairs, as well as international wine competitions. The consistent quality of Krauthaker wines is the result of his expertise, environmentally friendly production methods, a favourable microclimate and a high-quality terroir. The use of traditional wine-growing practices, such as horse ploughing, gives Vlado intense pleasure, because it is in line with his nature-loving mind set and passion for sustainability. In a beautiful setting of the winery’s tasting room you will be guided by a professional sommelier through the selection of these exceptional wines. A light snack will be served with the wines.
